Youngkin Approval Hits All Time High

I think Youngkin is the worse governor ever. He is a snake and is trying to take us back to the 1950s. That poll was done in Roanoke not around here.

I think Virginia voters have just what they want right now. A Republic governor who is pushing back against the excesses of the left-wing establishment and a divided state legislature that makes sure that Virginia doesn’t turn into Florida. It’s a fairly effective way to maintain a status quo that’s made Virginia a good place to live, with the state moving just a bit but not much further to the right.

He’s doing a great job. If here were able to run for a 2nd term, I’d vote for him again. He’d win in a landslide.

The “trying to take us back to the 1950s” trope is getting old and no one believes it.

-VA democrat who voted for Youngkin.

What has he done? I’m familiar with him turning down the opportunity to bring jobs to VA because it was a Chinese company, having an incompetent department of education that had math errors that resulted in millions of dollars not being provided to school districts, ridiculous AG investigations, social studies curriculum revisions that confused Martin Luther with MLK, Jr., appointing people to the UVA Board of Trustees who engaged in embarrassing text messages and leaving the state all the time to appear at campaign events for Maga candidates and media appearances on Fox News.

It's ok, though, they apologized! Summary of the apology: I'm sorry I didn't know that my text messages were FOIA-able; if I had known, I would have used a different medium that isn't FOIA-able.

“ Youngkin’s approval rating is up five points from November with 57% of Virginians reporting that they approve of the way he is handling his job as governor (from 52% in November). His disapproval is also down six points from November (41% in November, 35% now).”

In an off year election, he could definitely pull off a senate win with the right type of political climate (if he’s not VP pick before then)

lol

Nice piece of propaganda. His election was a good wake up call for all states. Younkin will never be elected again, for anything

Still waiting for an explanation of what he's done.

It polled 30% from Northern Virginia, which is about proportional to the demography of the state.

You mean he erected a huge straw man and is pummeling Virginia’s top ranked schools into the ground.

Blame the idiotic all democrat Fairfax School Board instead of Youngkin.

I don’t think most Virginians are going to have a problem with a UVA trustee who takes a UVA student to the woodshed for posting a “FUC* UVA” sign on the door of her dorm on the Lawn. Subsidizing such a privileged student’s lack of perspective is not real high up on the list of our priorities.

Most Virginians don't support the First Amendment's right to freedom of expression? Well, well.

Love the ad hominems. They reveal such a dearth of character and critical thinking. And the tinfoil hat conspiracy thinking about Youngkin plotting to stay in office forever really adds a Trumpian touch. Sadly, this is quite indicative of the mental state of the modern, (usually) white progressive woman these days. Youngkin is no worse, and probably not much better, than McAuliffe or Northam were over the prior too gubernatorial administrations. But ohmagod he's ruining the Commonwealth!
