I’ll echo that. Honestly, waitlisted people are not getting in. Sorry to say it. From a % perspective, I think the probability (mathematically) of getting admitted from a waitlist is actually lower than than initial acceptance. Said differently, most schools will cobble together a waitlist that AT LEAST is equal to the total number of admitted kids and, in some circumstances, is greater than the number of kids in an entire class.
To those who travel, first class has checked in full with a total of 16 seats up front. You are number 38 on the list. For you to clear, the entire cabin has to no-show, the next round of people have to decide not to travel and one guy has to miss his connection. Could it theoretically happen? Sure. But realistically…you ain’t clearing. Sorry but plan accordingly. |
