Closing a school to the works because someone drew 4 pictures on the wall?

Are you dense? There were antisemitic flyers posted on the walls.

That doesn’t give them a right to close the school. It’s ridiculous!

There is a reasonably large Jewish population at Northwood.
Many orthodox students. Also some teachers as well.

Are you dense part 2? No one is closing the school. No one is closing the facilities to students. Athletic field is not going to be available to the general public only to students. Also MCPS absolutely has the right to close its facilities. What are you on? .

It was a big deal and couple people went to the hospital

The MCPS bathroom email was sent a few days after this incident

This has nothing to do with the topic which is a far right wing hate group targeting the school and community? The article identifies the group, which they probably should not have done, and this isn’t kids drawing pictures or saying mean things. This is serious.

Are you implying because some students have a drug problem then the school and community deserve to be targeted by a right wing hate group?

How about stepping up security instead of fencing it off? Surely MCPS and the police can manage this.

some of these posters are just trolls (they are trying to be provocative by claiming hate symbols are just 'pictures,' saying 'they want to close down the whole school' when it's just closing outdoor facilities to community access, etc) so it's best not to engage them.

Telling that people are more upset about the closure than the anti-Semitic attacks.

Was anyone physically attacked? I didn't see that in the link about the incident.

An attack doesn’t need to be physical.
