not too expensive assisted living in maryland?

We are beginning the search for assisted living for a parent in Maryland. She's currently in independent living but the $10K per month for assisted living at her current place is just too much. Not near MC, but check out Arcadia Assistant Living in Crofton and Annapolitan in Annapolis. I’ve known families that used both and were very content.
