| Well I give them credit for fully committing to the aesthetic! They went all in! |
| I have no idea how much work it actually needs but I love what we can see. |
| I love this house. If it was $900k cheaper and an hour closer to my work I'd buy it in a heartbeat. |
| Bethesda housing stock is filled with outdated eyesores like this with longtime owners set to collect big $$ through the luck of geography. |
same. and the woods.

This is my neighborhood. Had no idea the house was so rundown. It looks ok from the outside.
A quick google shows this as the owner, who died at 101: https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/washingtonpost/name/grace-gorlitz-obituary?id=2024825 I am very sorry I missed the estate sale, as her art is fun and there was a lot of great vintage MCM stuff for sale: https://www.estatesales.net/MD/Bethesda/20817/3457278 I love the neighborhood and community, but there is plenty of airplane noise, and highway noise too for some houses, including this one. I would love it if someone bought the house to restore instead of tear down. It was obviously well-loved and could be awesome again. |
| That’s too much money for something that will need a gut rehab, but it does have potential to be really cool. |
These estate sales - can you get things online for shipment? I love her art and wonder if there are others like this. |
| Nice! Get red of clapboard. Change floors. It would be pretty good |

I like mid century contemporary houses.
My friend this is not it . I don’t think it is designed by an architect, just random artist owner and a builder. |
Thanks for sharing this! I also live in bannockburn and just did a quick search. I bet that house was amazing back in the day! |
|
That front floor reminds me of the floor in front of the Brady Bunch staircase. |
|
In trying to figure out what some of the rooms were used for, like in images 16 & 19? |
