Curious to hear DCUM thoughts on this one.. It's umm.. different. I think someone with the right vision and DEEP pockets could make this amazing. But in the meantime, which part "beckons to the whimsy and wonder in all of us?" I'm very confused by the freestanding pillars and the choice of 4 different kitchen cabinet colors. It could be very cool, but a HUGE undertaking.

Yeah, I'm not quick to call a home a tear down, but at a minimum this is a full gut reno. By the time you spend what it would take to remodel EVERY ROOM in this home if may just be a better investment to rebuild.
Someone who is super into the vintage 70s could just clean it up and use it as is.
I like it. But my style could be considered whimsical/artsy. More worried about deferred maintenance and whether there are any structural/rot issues. And, well, I don't have the budget for $1.4.
I leave it as is
Yikes.
Highway in the backyard!
I viewed this property. It looks more like a teardown and backs to a large forest. Lot shape is not ideal though
whoa
this is officially the worst home i've ever seen posted on this site.
So much potential!
I actually think there's a ton of potential there.
Is this an estate sale? I'm in the teardown camp. Could not live with that 1970s kitchen for one minute!
I think it's a $1.4 million lot
Looks like an estate sale. Notice the assist bars and level of the showerhead in the main shower.
