The problem is that the more I know about any celebrities life, the less appealing it is to me. I could only do this with someone who was very private and living as normal a life as possible (just with the benefits of wealthy and also getting to work in a creative field and have amazing opportunities). But the celebs like this are less on my radar precisely because they are not courting fame aggressively and only pop their heads out when they are promoting a project.

So this rules out pretty much anyone based in LA, anyone associated with reality TV of any kind, anyone who ever leaks anything about themselves for purposes of press attention, most celebrities who do brand endorsement deals, etc. I just don't want that life.

Honestly, my ideal would probably be to be like a screenwriter/producer. So... Paul Rudd's wife? The benefits of money and access, but do you know what she looks like or what her name is? Nope, and that's how she likes it. She's a genius, I admire her.

I generally feel similarly but I might go a little more high profile than Russell. Think Michelle Williams, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts.

Ugh, they've all had such messed up love lives, though (well, maybe not Naomi, but she is divorced)

Julia L-D 100%.
If not her, then Judi Dench or Maggie Smith or Cate Blanchett.

Nicole Kidman had to live with Tom Cruise and she's estranged from the kids she adopted with him.
Michelle Williams lost her first love and has subsequently had some of the trashiest relationship drama in all of Hollywood.
Naomi Watts is the best of the three but her ex humiliated her during and after their marriage.

Because being in your 20s is really not that great. Maybe great body but that’s it.

+1

Not in her 20s but I was thinking Jessica Alba.

I would never want to be in my twenties again. Thirties, sure.

Michelle has spent some summers in the same beach town as me. She will not go out in the sun. Seriously, she is covered head to toe at all times to protect her skin. I bet Nicole and Naomi do as well. Doesn’t seem like much fun.

That’s how I feel. First of all, none of us know what their lives are truly like. Second, I feel like a lot of the celebrities whose work I admire have had a lot of tragedy in their lives.

Paul McCartney— has lost so many close friends and family members. Plus he’s 80, so I’d be adding 44 years to my age

Dave Grohl — just lost his best friend and his mom. Also 17 years older than me.

I like my life. I don’t want to switch with anyone.

Oh but if I could spend a night of passion with Dave Grohl, I wouldn’t turn it down LOL
