Can’t get heart rate up to Zone 2?

Increase resistance.

I have a hard time walking fast enough to get my hear rate up, but then if I run I go way above zone 2. So instead I walk at a moderate pace on the treadmill but increase the incline until I hit zone 2.

Did you mean you are rowing? (erging?). I find it hard to believe you are rowing with good form and a decent amount of effort for more than 10 minutes and not able to get into zone 2.

Grumble. What was the point of the fit bit of its this bad!

OH1 costs as much. Can it sync to Fitbit?

You can also pay attention to how hard you feel you are working - do you feel your breathing get deeper and does it get harder to breathe through your nose and hold a conversation? If it's not, since moving faster doesn't feel natural for you, then it sounds like you should increase your resistance until you feel like you are getting a good cardiovascular workout.

Yeah I just want to avoid the impact of running. That’s why I like the urg, elliptical; I’ve done cycling and I think that should do it for getting HR up? I just hate the seat!

With the incline, you don’t need to run. Just walk with incline intervals- it really gets your heart rate up.
