| I would get a peace order if in MD. Not sure what it’s called in DC or VA. She followed you and tookpictures of your car, then posted them. She sounds crazy. |
Ya she needs a real hobby |
|
This sounds insane. The fact that other people agree is more insane.
I'd happily opt out of the group forever and literally never acknowledge this woman's existence ever again. |
Honestly, it makes me really uncomfortable to even drive out of the neighborhood now. I'm afraid everyone's keeping an eye on me to make sure I don't stray across her imaginary line. |
Than go around me. I’m not going over the limit because you need to get somewhere. |
You are not a cop. Get over yourself. |
| I definitely thought this was going to be a complaint about someone driving (only) the speed limit. My initial thought to the thread title was, "Yes, someone driving the speed limit on GW Parkway is bad. lol" |
dear God. you went under the speed limit. If control freak lady without healthy boundaries wants a lower speed limit, she can call the state dept of transportation. |
|
Wow.
This person that took all the time + effort to report this needs to get a brand-new life! Sorry OP. |
| Everything about this would piss me off. Being followed. Pictures of me obeying the speed limit being posted. Being judged and “shamed” over nothing. Being muted. Seriously, I would think about moving; can’t imagine I’d find friends in this group of people. All of this seems like symbols of different values; it’s not about the driving at all. |
| The crazy busybodies will always be with us. All you can do is ignore. |
We actually recently moved to this house, so not an option to leave right now - but yes, it's made me doubt I'll ever make friends here. |
| OP: Apparently the posted speed limit is inappropriate for your neighborhood as all of your neighbors agree that you drive too fast in the neighborhood. |
|
Your neighbor is a nutjob. The general rule is 5 OVER the limit is ok, providing you're situation aware and paying good attention to your surroundings.
|
Then they can contact the state. |
