Keep gaining and losing the same 5 pounds

Three pounds on 5'1" me is a bigger deal than it is on my 5'7" friends.

I haven't had dessert in a month.

Almost the same stats. I decided my body is meant to be 142 pounds. I could stay at 137 but it takes a lot of work, and it just isn’t worth it to me. My body is awesome, even at 142, and I’m much happier.

+1 In addition to the comments above, which I completely agree with, I'm also the ONLY person who knows or cares if I weight 137 vs 142.

Honestly to tie in with the other thread, this benefit of daily weighing.

I weigh 160 at 5’7 and I look very fit but my BMI is almost obese and my scale tells me I have a high percentage of body fat. I’ve been trying to lose for 3 weeks with Noom and my scale hours been 159.6-161. I can’t do it, it seems impossible.

No, no, no. Your BMI is almost *overweight*. BMI between 25 and 30. In order to be obese at your height you would have to weigh over 190. You are what we call pretty normal.

Your BMI at 5 ft 7 and 160 pounds is not almost obese. It’s 1 pound overweight! 159 is in the normal range!!

I know because I’m 5 ft 7 currently 162!

Anyway I’m also having trouble — I’m trying to get down to 155. So good luck, height and weight twin!!!

This is a waste of time; 5 pounds in either direction does not matter.

OP again, It was my lowest weight in high school.

You may not be eating enough and inherently hoarding calories at the safe line.

I hit a spot 30 lbs ago where I stayed in the same 5-10 lb range for months. I didn’t change anything except adding about 500-700 more calories a day. Since then, felt better and am losing consistently.

How will your life change when you weight 137 lbs?

OP again. It's still a normal weight and above the "Ideal weights" for my height. I made up the weights (clearly I didn't do a good job on this but I didn't expect replies) and I'm actually short, under 5'4, which is why 3 pounds is a big deal. I don't want to be IDed because I have family and friends on here.
