You answered your own question. I go in only because I am made to - definitely not to see people. |
| Your work place needs to choose days everyone is in together or it's a waste of everyone's time. And there is a lot of value in being there in person together. So whatever those days are. Make the suggestion to your manager who should grow some balls and tell people the days to come in. It's still a job and it's okay to tell people certain things are expectations. |
That’s why it’s a great day to go in. Plus jeans. |
| I would go T/W/Th bc I get the Sunday night blues and TW helps with that a lot. |
| The answer to this is always some combo of T/W/TH. |
| In the before times, I went in T/W/Th and it was glorious. Now, I’ll probably do T/W or W/Th. I like having Monday at home to enjoy the quiet after the weekend (have three kids, it’s loud here) and start the week well. Same with Friday, only to wrap up the week. |
I’ve found traffic to be worse on Friday afternoons |
| PPs have covered the major factors: commute, whether you do / don't want to be in when others are, whether you want to minimize in-office days (so pick Mondays, which are often holidays). |
|
Th-Fri is the perfect balance:
Thursdays are busy days at the office and I can see coworkers and my boss. Fridays are dead days at the office. I'm often alone and I can wear casual clothes. Back-to-back days mean that I can leave my laptop and work materials at the office overnight. Also, if I forget to bring something I need on Thursday, I can bring it and finish that task the next day. |
| I like Tue. - Thu. There's no shifting/dragging gear back and forth all the time... either I'm at home or the office. I get into a good groove/routine. And I like to have Mon./Fri. at home because it makes the transition to/from the weekend easier for our family. |
| I do T/W. I like it. Mondays you sort of ease into it. By Thursday the week is pretty much coming to an end and people are focused on getting to the w/e and Fridays are usually a breeze and pretty dead by 3pm, so I liked to spend the two busiest days in the office. |
| Tues/Wed/Thurs traffic is the worst. |
