I was there in summer- VERY HOT!
I prefer to keep skin covered with lightweight, breathable, thinloose, flowing cotton or linen (pants, tunics).

Whenever I travel to dusty and desert areas I bring a large lightweight scarf that I can use to cover my neck from the sun, mouth if it gets windy or ward off the chill at night. I feel like it’s just a good multipurpose piece. Other than that, things that can be shaken out, dry quickly and layer easily.

Dust is easily shaken out. Khaki and tan show dirt/stains more easily.
