John Goodman?

He’s a criminally underrated actor. Revenge of the Nerds, Roseanne/Conners, Flight, 10 Cloverfield Lane - he has incredible range.

Agree, re: Thread titles. I really wish people would just take a second before they post and realize that just a name as a title does read to many like, "Oh no, did he die?" Sorry but it's the gut reaction on this thread.

That said....Goodman is a terrific talent and more versatile than I think anyone realized when he was first getting attention on "Roseanne." Love actors like him who just keep doing the work. True "jobbing actors."

+1 Also one of the best SNL hosts ever.

Fallen with Denzel Washington
Mr. Goodman plays the demon part like he really is a demon.

I also loved him in "Raising Arizona."

I'm really glad he lost a lot of weight because even though I loved him at whatever weight he was I now feel like he'll be around even longer for us to love!

He's so fantastic in that show!

One of my favorite roles he's done was in 500 Days of Summer. He plays such a likeable quirky weirdo in that movie.

I met him at JFK a few years ago. Totally friendly and down to earth.

He managed to lose the weight without losing his appeal as an actor.

He seems to be one of those actors that just wants to act. Not saying he doesn’t want to recognized. But because he wants to be acknowledged as an actor with talent, not just famous.
