+10 Same here. Congrats to your daughter. Does she like UMD? We are in state too and DD had her heart set on going OUT of state. But Maryland looks better and better every day.

Yes! She loves UMD and really liked the Freshman Connection program as well.

What's the application/notification process for the honors college at IU? Is it specific to any particular school?

If it's automatic, my son is a freshman there and had the sorts of stats that I'd think would make him a candidate. If it's not automatic, I don't think he applied - which would explain things. Also, he's dual enrolled at Jacobs and Luddy, so if it's school specific, maybe those schools aren't part of the honors college.

My daughter is a high school senior and has been accepted at IU but I don't think has heard anything from the honor's college. Her stats are good but not quite what my son's were.
