I thought that was actually pretty good, namewise. Like University College London or University College Oxford. (Of course umgc is nowhere near these)! I think the switch to UM Global Campus is lame.

No. It's in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. The college is named after the town it is located in. (I'm from the neighboring town - Grove City.)

This one drives me crazy. It is NOT Miami of Ohio, it is Miami University. It was named after the Miami Indians of Ohio and is older than the University of Miami (the one in Florida.) U of Miami has become more well known and so people tend to call the original Miami, Miami of Ohio. The other one should be called Miami of Florida.
