oh I love one or two. But not like 5-10 |
I’m Not a fan of the current white and beige look. I have a few friends who hav e built 3-4 million dollar homes recently and decorated like this. It’s so drab and boring. |
Tray ceilings, those wooden wall decorations they do on those home shows to add texture I hate those. Red/maroon walls from 15 years ago. |
+1 There’s something chilling about their website and catalog pics. |
Barn doors and removing closet doors or turning closets into a mudroom area, removing kitchen cabinet door or glass cabinet door what's the point? |
Right?? I say it looks like the waiting room to a rich guy's torture chamber. |
This and the ugly grey wash LVP flooring that every flipper on and off tv uses, it looks cheap |
Any room that looks like it was finished in a weekend. Zero personality and totally ripped off from Insta or HGTV. A home should be original and look “collected”, not like you bought the display. I also very much dislike photo canvas art. Word art and ugly geometric designed polyester rugs are also bad. Expensive homes with cheap/tacky furniture like plastic end tables. I know someone who bought a 4million dollar house for status and fills it with crap because he’s house poor. Totally clueless. Large black window frames in crowded DMV suburbs look dumb and scream striver. |

Yes. The words luxury and vinyl should never be spoken together. |
All neutrals. I like color. Also, I hate when you open the front door and are confronted by the staircase - it strikes me as very aggressive. Lastly, I hate pedestal sinks. |
Industrial. I once had to go to a dinner party at a home decorated in this style. They had encouraged me to bring my infant. I excused myself to nurse the baby at one point and could not find a comfortable or private space anywhere!

Rococo with lots of tchotchkes |
All of the above plus mirrored furniture and brass pulls in a kitchen 🤮 |
Farmhouse
Industrial What I hate more than anything is undecorated homes. The couple we bought our house from had teenagers and yet it looked like college furniture and nothing coordinated. WTH |
