I don’t know what it is with these right-wing provocateurs meddling in our schools, but I have had quite enough of it.

Title IX was one of the first things that came to my mind when the story broke. Transferring students accused of sexual assault from one campus to another with nothing in place to protect the girls and women at the second location is a very common Title IX violation. \I'm glad that someone is doing it even if I hate Stephen Miller

The letter is only 12 pages, and you obviously didn't bother reading it.

Oh, I read it. Bad-faith remarks like the public was removed from a meeting for applauding a speaker told me all I need to know.

Too bad no feminist group cared enough to do anything. Students accused of sexual assault were moved from one school to the next without any thought given to the women and girls at the second school. The administration then lied about it. I don't care who the lawyers are, LCPS deserves to be taken through the ringer over this. If this was a district in Alabama and Gloria Allred was leading the case, people would be cheering, but because this is a blue county with a blue school board, the girls and their families are supposed to shut up and be quiet.

so called feminist groups are just part of the patriarchy. They don't care about girls or women. A rapist who identifies, according to his mother, as gender fluid and pan sexual, is more important than girls.

Yeah, I’m much happier to have people battle things out in the courts than something like Ron DeSantis banning AP African American studies. Of course the courts aren’t perfect, but if the court decides in a way you don’t like, there’s a democratic remedy to change the law.

OCR will not take a complaint if it's being handled by another agency, which this is.

Title IX came to my mind too, since Betsy Davos watered down the regulations to give more right to the accused.

Title IX came to my mind too, since Betsy Davos watered down the regulations to give more right to the accused.

The changes gave basic due process rights to the accused.. basically the same as if they were charged criminally for the same incident.

No, I'm saying that the people who work at OCR are able to choose which situations they wish to pursue and that they can put pressure on schools to make certain decisions regarding students who exhibit behavioral difficulties.
