According to the link you posted, the US is 2nd, behind China. |
My bad. I don't know why they assigned each country a rank that doesn't correspond to the per capita numbers. So... the US has lower emissions per capita than Australia and Canada? |
|
OP here. Seriously, we have no legitimate reason to be smug saying USA isn’t among the top ten CO2 emitters in the world. The countries having greater per capita emissions have low population numbers. The Sun of their absolute emission amounts is less than what USA spews out in a year. |
| ^^^ “sum” not “Sun”. Autocorrect is the culprit. |

Global warming models do not operate on a per capita basis. The climate is affected by the total amount of CO2, and China alone is emitting much more than the scientists call for.
Run the models with US and Europe at 0 CO2, and global warming still takes place. It's not even much of a drop in temperatures compared to the US and Europe not cutting emissions, especially since the countries other than China and India are also increasing emissions. Also, CO2 is not pollution. The usual excuse with China is to point at per capita, but even per capita they are above the target level, as well as the global per capita. Then the activists cover this up with historical cumulative emissions per capita. You can talk about Hannity and Steven Miller, but it is the environmentalists that are bad at arithmetic. You need to cut emissions by about 90% globally, and China has 30% of that number. To cut by 90%, you have to get to 10%. So even if everyone else dropped to 0, China would have to cut its 30% by two-thirds, and instead it is increasing. So unless you have a plan to get China to reduce emissions, every other global warming policy is futile. On top of that, India is headed towards its own 10%, if its not there already, plus the rest of the developing world is around 30%. The policy proposed is some sort of carbon tax and using World Bank funding to browbeat these countries into pursuing renewable energy. A proper solution would be to develop carbon free energy that is so cheap other countries will flock to it. You don't do this with subsidies and mandates. |

Steven Miller must have had trauma as a kid from some females because he hates women with a passion. Also, Miller is Jewish, yep the KKK, antisemite was born a jew. So when they come for me they will come for him too. He applied to Duke and lied on his application still got in and then the Duke Lax case. Perfect timing for this nutball.
But it wasn’t just Miller whose persona was forged by the Duke lacrosse case. Also on campus was a grad student named Richard Spencer. The case made him, too, and he went on to rebrand American neo-Nazism as the alt-right. As time has gone on Miller/Spencer basically one in the same. Great job Duke University. |
Thanks for the explanation. The MSNBC crowd was sounding about as stupid as Hannity and Miller. |
