West Elm just cancelled order

Just go to HomeGoods. I receive a ton of compliments on our sofa. It is hit or miss when you go there, but after about a month, you'll find something at a great price.

I do not recommend Room & Board as they were having similar supply chain issues as Pottery Barn/West Elm over the past year. I also bought in stock coffee tables from West Elm and got them in a few days - at this point, I'm not buying anything that isn't guaranteed in stock.

BoConcept PP. We ordered Crate and Barrel that was not in stock last year and it was delayed for us, but maybe they've solved the supply chain issues since then (and like PP said if you go with in stock I assume you won't have issues). Room & Board has solved their supply issues, I think. We got our furniture earlier than anticipated, and I think they may have even announced that they aren't having delays anymore. Even so, they were honest about the predicted delayed delivery time. Current delivery time is about 3 months, which seems pretty standard for custom orders.

We had no trouble getting our sofa from Article. It’s comfy and fine for now.

+1 happy with our sofa from Mitchell Gold

We have two Mitchell gold sofas and love them. One we’ve had for ten years and it’s held up well

Adding that EA lets you filter by ship now (in stock).

Room and board sent an email a couple months ago saying they were (or were soon to be) back on regular schedule.

We love ours, too. Very well made and comfy! Sitting on it right now.

Creative Classics is a nice store in Old Town, with a lot of midcentury modern styles. Might be out of your budget though. Crate and Barrel outlet. Costco.

Joybird, Article and Wayfair if you don’t mind ordering online.

West Elm/Pottery Barn are great for things they have in the store (linens, accessories) but I don’t trust them for anything else.

It's the supply chain. We are about to take a nose dive. You just aren't following the right sources. China is about to go dark. Vietnam is already there. It's like a zombie wasteland!

Second the recommendation for Green Front. The advantage is, that you don’t have to order and wait for delivery. Disadvantage is you have to hope what they have on the floor will be the right size, color, materials.
