Getting rid of all refined carbs plus pasta rice and bread isn’t sustainable. For normal people, that is.

"For "normal" people"? Way to try to normalize addiction to refined carbs just to help justify why you want to keep eating this way. If you want to stop, you can. it's not hard for god's sake.

It actually isn't too hard. I did fall off the wagon during covid - all that baking!! - but I'm back and yeah, sometimes I do eat treats, but it actually isn't that difficult to say no to pasta and bread. I did it initially to help with headaches and stomacheaches, but the weight loss was a bonus!!

People can do whatever they want, but humans have been eating breads for literally 10,000 years (yes 10,000 not 1000). So we shouldn't act like its some bizarre modern day part of our diet

Modern day refined carbs are vastly different from what humans have been eating throughout history. This argument does not apply.

You can eat these items occasionally if you like, but they create hunger for many people and cause over consumption.
