Talk to me about oatmeal…serving size, weight loss

half a cup of old fashioned oats made with 2 cups of water, once cooled down totally add two tablespoons of ground chia

I'm a former oatmeal fan and now eat teff instead - suggested by Dr. Mark Hyman. Instant oats are especially glycemic.

I like mixing cooked teff with kefir and fruit to make a porridge

Did you not read the OP? This is for overnight oats. Just water wouldn't work.


I always use water in overnight oats and have for years. Usually with some chopped nuts, and maybe some chopped apples or a few raisins and cinnamon.

I do:

1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 unsweetened almond milk
1 TBSP of chia seeds
1 TBSP of maple syrup
@65-70g of nonfat plain greek yogurt (I use a scale)
