Cottage cheese is a perfect mixer for salty (mini-pretzels) and sweet (canned peaches). YUM.

When I was pregnant my weird combo was pickles and chocolate milk. I refused to give into the craving and one day I caved and I was hooked.

Funny, yes, his mom was from York. Can you explain how it’s a PA thing?

Now I’m feeling a need for the original pretzel sticks/chocolate ice cream combo, which I haven’t done in years.

Also, the turkey/peach thing actually sounds like a good combo.


I was going to say the same thing. My grandparents on my dads side lived in Pennsylvania and growing up my grandma would give us a nighttime snack of Neapolitan ice cream with pretzel sticks. A lot of ice cream shops there have pretzel cones too. Definitely a Pennsylvania Dutch thing
