| I use to follow the blog but I don’t think her style has evolved beyond silk camis, oversized sweaters and jeans. So I lost interest. |
| I follow this blog. I am a size and style twin to their comfort shoe contributor named Linzi. |
you must be lovely bc she is! I wish this blog would do posts on topics like “how to hem jeans” etc. All the contributors look great in their respective clothes but when I buy it never looks the same on me, and I really think hemming, as an example, makes a difference. One if my favorite posts was wheb one of the contributors explained how she breaks in levis jeans. |
| I read her when it was “Ain’t no mom jeans” and preferred it. Now it’s a giant ad. |
Same. |
Thanks. They don’t seem to hem. They just “hack” their jeans and live with a raw hem, which is a bit overdone IMO. I do appreciate that a lot of their contributors are short, so I can usually get a good idea of how some of the jeans would suit my frame. |
They do t have a choice. People are aloud to move. If there kid is enrolled in a academy, it isn’t like their kid isn’t enrolled in an accredited school. Academy programs just have a different daily schedule to accommodate sports. We have a friend who’s daughter does horse jumping in season in Wellington and attends an academy there and the rest of the year attends her zoned school in the DC area. Neighbor has a kid in a golf academy school in SC. They have longer breaks because a chunk of the kids are from overseas. We do long trips with our kid who is not in an academy. He is a great student, so if husband school wants to fail him, fine. Experiences he has teach him a lot more than school. |

Maybe they withdraw them and then re enroll them?
And I like some of their stuff but some of it looks atrocious and the morbidly obese woman is not outfit goals, she’s a cautionary tale. Loathe this new obese people in fashion trend 😭😭😭 |
All interesting. Do you know how schools flowd vis a vis the academies? Like for a high schooler - maybe their geometry class is studying vectors in November, and then when they switch to the academy school that is what their geometry class is studying in January? Or do the academies provide indovidualized education to match the order of their home school classes? I know nothing about this and it fascinates me. I get worried about the “catch up” if my kids miss more than a few days of school due to illness! |
| Is the point of her outfits to make herself invisible? Because if I saw her walking around, I wouldn't even notice her. |
| I like the blog too. Shana's body type is really different from mine so her looks often don't work for me, but I like that there is a variety of people so you can see things that work for different body types. I actually like Emily's style the best. And they do a great job with sales - I find their coverage very useful around black Friday, Nordstrom sale, etc |
| I’m just glad she’s healthy! It was so scary when she had cancer. I’m so glad those boys still have their mama and are skiing and having fun! |
PA has a free cyber charter school. |
| Non-magnet, non-charter high schools in Philly are the absolute pits. |
| Her kids go to Philly public school (maybe charter or magnet, no idea), not cyber/virtual. |
