Pothole turned into 4k of damage is it worth filing insurance?

I filed a similar incident with State Farm. They paid but didn’t tell me they would record it as an accident. I lost my accident-free discount for 3 years.

This is what my H did. Saved us almost $1,000 compared to two new replacement wheels from the dealership.

. No you can’t.

It never hurt to try.

You can also pick up new wheels from the dealership. https://www.chargerforums.com/threads/car-dealer-in-northern-virginia-had-wheels-stolen.380057/

Actually mismatched tires are generally a very bad idea due to potential understeer/oversteer traction conditions — particularly with an AWD vehicle. Some msnufacturers also specify a minimum circumference difference to prevent damage to an AWD system, meaning replacing all four tires or shaving the two new tires.

I have purchased refurbished wheels with no complaints from https://wheelsamerica.com/ for use with winter tires. Many bent and even cracked rims can be repaired and refinished with success. Check local forums for BMW or Porsche owners for recommended shops.
