Gee OP don't really understand why so many of the previous posters are so grumpy!
Congrats to all your friend's children! |
| I can't even imagine how insecure or immature a person must be to start this thread. |
Hahahahaha ok |
Can you share the outcome? How many Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, etc? |
Yea, can you please stalk your kid’s friends and get back to us? 🤮 |
There were none last year |
What is wrong asking about the number of kids admitted to each HYPS? OP said the outcome is outstanding. |
Most scholarship kids are from middle & upper-middle class families and not the kids on cash assistance and food stamps. A kid on cash assistance and food stamps from Sidwell would be impressive. |
Why was last year so bad? |
|
And in other news - water is wet.
|
| So happy for sidell school. |
Typo on purp?

My Sidwell senior child is not one of the lucky ones. But yes, there are a few HYP admits (just one of each has posted to the Instagram account where these things are being shared.)
I hasten to add that there is a strong correlation between these ED admits and students who "started a nonprofit" or somesuch. (At this point, I must cross-reference another active thread on this very topic). Many who have done well in ED have done just that. Being a top-of-the class excellent student from Sidwell does not appear to be enough any longer. |
Yes there were - multiple of each actually |
Multiple of each. |
