| People see Bari Weiss's name in the subject line and freak out. |
| Many of us eschew perpetual attention-seeking, narcissistic self-promoters with little actual substance. |
Why don’t people like her? Is it because of Elon? |
| Any round table that’s examining only one side of the equation is a liar’s enterprise. Why don’t we talk about anti-blackness among white Jews and what white Jews plan to do about that? Or is it that white Jews don’t their own deeds are relevant to the dynamic between the two communities? |
A panel of like-minded. Nah, I don't think so. |
|
I stopped reading once I got to the part about Farrakhan having an “outsized” influence. I’m not clear what — exactly— was meant by that sweeping statement. I am clear that it’s false — by most people’s understanding of what “influence “ means, and I doubt that Weiss cares about the inflammatory inaccuracy.

I don't know about now, but not many people can organize a million man march. Even if it was only a few hundred thousand. |
| It’s not 1995. Farrakhan is 90. The NOI is moribund. The great grandson of Elijah Muhammad is a distinguished Harvard professor. Time moves on. |
Because she equates “liberal” with “woke” which is a Twitter thing not a real life thing. Twitter is not representative of all America. |
Oh and want to add: I disliked her long ago when she was on Bill Maher and working for the NYT. Her arguments and discussions were as deep as a saucer. She also spends WAY too much time on Twitter (as do many journalists). |
As a Jew of color, gotta call out your antisemitic BS. Antisemitism exists in all communities. Anti-LGBT sentiments, too. Ditto misogyny. All are fair game for discussion and your use of the AS/racist dog-whistle “white Jews” is gross. |
1) she’s a woman; 2) Jewish woman; 3) gay woman; 4) fat woman; 5) smart woman. |
Lick the boot for fun and validation, right? |
More like because in working for Musk regarding Twitter, she's shilling for moronic, lowbrow antisemites, bodyshaming chauvinists and homophobes, which would kinda negate any personal attributes she has. |
| She specializes in imaginary grievances. |
