What drink can I order that won’t taste terrible?

I'd avoid sweet if you're worried about a hangover. I'd order vodka soda with a small splash of cran and a lime.

Me too. I’ve been trying to switch to Coke Zero but never Diet Coke.

This situation is one of the rare ones in which I’d bring a flask of something I liked and doctor a club soda or whatever with. Bad alcohol isn’t worth it - not the calories, the taste, none of it.
