| Something just isn't right about Fannone. I can't place it but he's off. |
He's suffering from PTSD? But more important, so what? Does that make any part of what the MPD officers at the ceremony did in any way OK? |
Even if it's not most, it's a lot. Let me ask you this: What's an acceptable number of fascists in law enforcement? |
Looks like the DC FOP has caught wind of this story. |
|
Except this would be precisely the catnip the media would eat up. Look at how the handshake blowoff went viral. Not buying it. |
Define “a lot.” I have worked directly with law enforcement for almost 20 years and I have only met one that might fight that description, and that’s only because I greatly disagree with his political views. I doubt that actually makes him a fascist, though. I usually avoid painting groups of people with a broad brush. It seems we are so often wrong when we do that. |
OK, now answer the question: what's an acceptable number? |
facism: a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control You have seriously worked in law enforcement 20 year and only met one cop that believed in ^^^^ You don't know more than 1 cop that believes they have unlimited power to execute their duties. |
Unlimited power? No, I don’t. Im sorry to burst your theory here, but I haven’t seen a roaming band of fascists within the police department. Plus, I’m quite aware of the definition of fascism. I maintain that somebody harboring political beliefs that are more conservative than my own doesn’t automatically make them a fascist. |
Unless you think the acceptable number is anything other than zero, any is too many. |
Ah, so now you admit it. NP |
