Preliminary investigation. Could not find the final report online but it sounds like the intersection could have been clear when the van driver started to move after stopping and bike entered the intersection. Just tragic timing for all involved.

When I'm driving, I try not to hit people, right-of-way or no right-of-way. And I take special care when I'm driving around children, which the law actually requires drivers to do.

What really happened then if the report was wrong?

The driver blew through the stopsign. Just like multiple videos show multiple vehicle operators doing on a regular basis.

The preliminary investigation - which deemed that the driver was not at fault - was issued one day after the accident. 449 days have since passed. Is this not enough time for MPD to complete the full investigation?

Why are you so obsessed with pinning murderous action on a truck driver when the police exonerated him? It's really weird.

No one wanted Allie to die. What do we do now that can make those who have survived, like her brother, safer?
