Any decent dairy free cheese/yoghurts?

Beans (try roasted chickpeas or black beans with picky eater), tofu, lentils (the firm black ones might work for your child- Trader Joe’s used to sell them cooked in the produce section).

A glass of milk would be awful, but a small amount of hard-ish cheese (cheddar or block mozzarella) that’s been cooked would be ok, so I don’t have problems with a small slice of pizza, for example. I’m posting this just in case you don’t have to be quite as careful about being dairy free — as much as concerned about the types of dairy products and portion sizes.

For protein, I snack on nuts, like tofu ( especially fried tofu snacks), and eat eggs in some form a few times a week. I also like lentils and hummus, so, maybe hummus and chips and veggies could add some protein.

Thank you! This definitely matches my own experiences — things I learned the hard way. Nice that this information is readily available.
