What could they possibly be fighting about?

My best guess is that she asked he was rude to her when she asked to charge her phone, then her phone ran out of battery so she could not complete the ride in the app. Then he wouldn’t let her leave when they arrived at the destination because he wasn’t assured of getting paid. Which is why he also got out of the car.

That’s not how Uber works. She sounded pissed that her phone was dying, maybe he didn’t let her plug hers in.

There’s a lot left unsaid here. He said, she said, and the truth. Maybe we all withhold judgment for now.

Apparently you haven't read many of the other threads in this sub-forum. It doesn't surprise me in the least.

There is zero reason for an Uber driver to get out of their car.

There is also zero reason for anyone to ever use the n-word.

Oh no. Sounds like they were both very stressed out. When in doubt, I side with the woman.

Not anyone from DCUM. This is a bird from 2016.

I am waiting for someone to identify her and ruin her pathetic life. Lets find out everything about her and make her pay!! Use the power of internet and social media.

No, hon. That's a mid-Atlantic accent. Nice try, though.

Not justifying what she said, at all, but -- he did call her a b/tch first.

Also he gestured toward her face like he was going to hit her. Not okay.

Are you kidding? She actually did shove him. I'm impressed at his restraint.

She is the one who has moved into his personal space. She is the aggressor.

She's standing back saying, "Your phone was not plugged in. Your phone was not plugged in." Then he says, "Shut up b/tch" That's okay with you? She's repeating her complaint and he calls her a b/tch, and she's the aggressor? Horrible behavior on both sides -- that guy is definitely not an innocent victim.

It isn't his job to charge her phone.

Not to mention the fact that she calls him the N-word - over and over! Sheesh! How on earth could anyone side with her?

Let’s be careful and not call out the wrong person and make their life hell. It looked like the driver was also filming the interaction, yes? He will know her name etc, so likely to accurately identify her.

This. He should’ve decked her with a right hook the second she shoved him.
