Hybrid SUV to buy after owning an Outback

What do you hate about the RAV 4, OP? I need to replace my Forester soon and thought the RAV 4 Prime looked good.

Maybe a Honda CRV?

Just announced recall of hundreds of thousands of Ford Escapes model years 2020 through 2023 due to engine fire risk caused by leaky cracked fuel injectors.

Avoid the Ford Escape.

Why not get a new Subaru Forester ? Top rated by Consumer Reports, but scarce.

Toyota RAV Hybrid LXE complaints = Ride, fit, and finish according to CR Only scored 65 out of 99. (Toyota RAV Prime is a different vehicle costing over $46,000 and has separate issues.)

Forester scored 90 out of a possible 99.

I'm not the person to whom you're replying, but I'll probably never buy another Subaru again due mainly to the super obnoxious, terribly designed screen and control system found in all of their newer models. They really did a terrible, terrible job vs their competition.

Subaru refuses to commit to making any more hybrid or electric vehicles for at least another 10 years. I don't want to buy a non-hybrid car, and especially not from them.

OP back - I'm planning now for buying a car in the spring.

I hate driving it - the seats are uncomfortable and it feels really cheap inside. Is the Highlander any better on the inside?

Hahahaha no.

Besides Ford being way overpriced for what you get their cars are recalled like crazy. And their service is atrocious so over priced.
