| Yes but it’s not an option in our house. |

The point of combing hair is to remove tangled and make it look nice. Why would you make him do something that is intended to solve a problem he doesn’t have?
I would focus on the teeth, then the face. If you are going to make him do his hair, I would get him a tangle teaser brush instead of a comb. My son likes that because it just feels nicer. |
| My kid has a friend who doesn’t brush her teeth in the morning.. I don’t get it. If your kid won’t brush teeth then they dont get any more sweets. Hair needs to look presentable. |
| One kid w barber cut sometimes styles/gels, mostly does nothing. Other kid has high end salon curly cut, doesn’t do anything to it. Their hair usually looks v good bc I am super picky about who cuts it and I stay on top of fresh haircuts. And they have my husband’s genetically very nice hair. Combing wouldn’t really make a difference. |
| My son doesn’t brush his hair in the morning. It’s not really that important. Teeth are brushed twice a day though. |
Damn |
| Yes, your kids must have good hygiene. Please don't let this be an excuse. |
| How is this even a question?! |
Why damn? My kid is the same. His hair would look ridiculous if he "combed" it in the morning. I literally can't even remember the last time we brushed it. He gets it washed & conditioned every weekday and it's kept short. When it gets long it becomes curly... and of course you don't brush/comb curly hair dry in the morning. He is clean. His hair is clean & neat. He brushes his teeth twice a day. His nails are short & clean. He wears clean clothes. |
| It’s a great habit to start. More for creating the hobbit than anything else. I think it’s important for us to teach our kids that’s self-care is everyday. |
