The fan i installed in the attic is very quiet. Can't hear anything. I hope your reading is well below 4pCi/L w/ a system in place. Mine is no more than 0.3/0.4 pCi/L long term.


Venting the radon system to the attic is not up to code. Radon is a heavy gas, heavier than air, and if you vent to the attic it sinks back down into the house. You have to vent to the exterior.

If you did radon remediation/mitigation, can you share the overall cost and time spent doing it?

It’s relatively cheap. We paid 1500. It took them just a few hours.
