Maybe the school puts students of color front and center for this, but...their annual "Christmas at Belmont" concert, televised each year on PBS, is definitely diverse. "No diversity" is a bit extreme. OP, check that concert out. Even if your kid doesn't go there in the end, tit's worth a listen; the concert is top quality musically (as my musician DH always notes). |

| We wandered through the campus when DD toured Vandy. Belmont is gorgeous! Have a co-worker whose family is extremely Christian and their daughter is a freshman there this year. They selected it for the music connections and its Christian culture. Her daughter is super happy there and had no trouble finding like minded friends right away. Not saying other perspective's don't exist- I just hear one kid's experience. She was an average HS student and did get some merit. |
