I thought so too but a friend told me they had similar issues and results. Come IVF time 9 of 11 embryos were abnormal, all different reasons. If they had kept trying obviously they only had a 1 in 5 pregnancies chance if a normal egg implanting.

Yes, being able to test the embryos is the advantage of IVF. I'm sorry for your losses.

Yes, this. IVF can absolutely help. For example, if you have a balanced translocation which would cause a smaller than average number of embryos to be viable you would save time (and heartache) by only utilizing viable embryos. Sorry for your losses, it can be such a hard road.

Did you consider CCRM? I went to both SGF and CCRM for IVF. CCRM is definitely not convenient for everyone, but I really liked Dr. Payson and, given your experience, it may be worth it to do at least a consult with him. Good luck!
