| I'm at 1.5 years, 5 miscarriages one so late that we knew it was a healthy boy. I feel broken, fat, sad, and every God damn test is negative. They can't find a single thing wrong. I have tons of eggs on scan, obviously keep getting pregnant and losing every one. Just venting. |
I’m sorry. I feel your pain. You’re in a huge and often invisible club of women.Have they been testing the products from your miscarriages? Are you doing IVF? |
Yes, all tests that they can perform have been negative. We're in red tape hell waiting for IVF. Still doing more testing but we're approaching the last tests with still no answers. My biggest worry with IVF is I miscarriage those too. Except obviously not free. |
You’re right- IVF is not going to necessarily help if you have uterine or immune issues that are causing miscarriages of euploid embryos. If you haven’t already you need an HSG and saline sonogram to rule out uterine anomalies, possibly a uterine biopsy to see if you have endometritis (uterine lining infection) - which would t be shocking with as many miscarriages as you’ve had. Also immune testing and the repeat pregnancy loss panel, thyroid and vitamin D test. Signed- 11X IVF vet that could get pregnant but also miscarried multiple euploid embryos. |
Also forgot to add… I’m sorry for your losses. It’s ok to take a break and come up for air. Especially now with labs closing in December. Wishing you peace and calm. |
I've done all these tests and all negative except for the endometrium biopsy I haven't had done. Still waiting for the larger carrier screen to come back (initial one and karyotype was negative) and also the supermarket quality to come back (there are seriously 0 labs that will do the testing). |
| I'm sorry. Late miscarriages are brutal. |
|
Sorry for your losses. You've tested for blood clotting factors and thyroid antibodies?
I agree with a previous poster that if you are not having difficulty getting pregnant then IVF probably won't help. |
All negative I thought so too but a friend told me they had similar issues and results. Come IVF time 9 of 11 embryos were abnormal, all different reasons. If they had kept trying obviously they only had a 1 in 5 pregnancies chance if a normal egg implanting. |
| What clinic are you at? |
| How old are you? |
|
I’m so sorry for what you are going through. My partner and I also lost two at early stages.
It’s ok to take a break. Progesterone levels are important for maintaining pregnancy and ours were low. Otherwise you can try IVF or surrogacy as last resort aside from adoption. There are many who are going through same so I pray that you have a good support group. |
Yes, being able to test the embryos is the advantage of IVF. I'm sorry for your losses. |

| I’m very sorry, OP. No advice. Just tears for you. I’ve been there. I’m so so sorry. If I knew you in real life, I’d give you a big hug and cry with you. And maybe some donuts. |
