UC Davis is held an extremely high regard among educators. I am absolutely not surprised that it is this high on the list. I am surprised at some of the other schools but not this particular one.

Here are some stats: https://www.ucdavis.edu/news/uc-davis-receives-accolades-top-10-public-university

University of Virginia is actually on the list at 31:

31 University of Virginia (VA)

This list is such ridiculous clickbait. They do not even purport to rank institutions based on how we normally think of rankings — quality of education. They rank based on “what they do for the country.”

While it’s just fine for people to think about “what they do for the country” in selecting a college, that says nothing about the quality of the school.

So let’s give National Louis University a round of applause for being a positive force in the US, and then get back to the task of choosing colleges based on quality.

Don't feed the troll...as a non UVA person that gives zero F's about the school they say UVA boosters in a blog that is geared for the DMV area are the issue. No, the negative UVA comments eclipse all else.

How is what they do for the country irrelevant to the quality of the school?
