Ad free Peacock, Hulu, Paramount+ hack

OP, thanks for sharing. I don’t understand the hack, but I can see you were trying to be nice and share with us. Ad-free is a good thing!

Some of you people are just mean and nasty. I feel sorry for your lives truly.

No one is being mean to you. You posted something false because you don’t understand what a hack is. It’s not mean to correct you so that others understand.

Because there is no hack. OP is buying the ad free version of various streaming services. But they are trying to present it as a hack when it’s not.

Yes it is so there!

Nope.

You are welcome. It was quite the hack for me and I didn’t realize it until this fall tv season. Some people just live to be nasty.

Sigh. Most people have to ff through the commercials. Using the hack. You don’t have to.

No....most people pay for streaming services so they don't have to fast forward through the commercials. You're maybe 10 years behind the rest of us.

OP, I don’t think people are being nasty. Some people who possibly can’t afford the ad free version of the streaming sites were probably excited for a possible hack to get the ad free version without paying for it. Instead they read your post to see that the “hack” is a discovery on your part of a benefit of paying money to make your life easier.

+1 Still waiting to hear what the actual hack since everyone already knows about streaming services.

Here's a definition of "life hack" from Urban Dictionary. I think it applies here:

Lifehack
A colloquial term for common sense that makes people feel good about their basic creativity, or lack thereof. Typically lifehacks are not all that helpful, they are simply advertised well so as to provide a false sense of improvement in the user's day to day operation.
"Check out these 7 lifehacks using only paper clips! #1: use them to hold your papers together!..."

Thank you for wasting our time with your non definition.

Peacock + and Paramount + have on it been around about 18 months. People who don’t have cable or satellite and having been watching YouTubeTV may not have known about this helpful hack to watching their favorite network shows. The other insulting commenters just cannot help themselves putting others down. They have sad little lives and would be considered cowards as they would never say some of the things they spout off here if confronted in person. They would cower like the pathetic meerkats they are.

It’s pathetic to keep digging in that spending more money is your “life hack”.

This is not a life hack. A life hack is telling us about a sneaky, not well known way to get around paying ads. Everyone knows about paid subscription services. It's not our fault that you weren't aware.
