Ad free Peacock, Hulu, Paramount+ hack

Anonymous
I have all three ad free plus YouTubeTV.

I no longer have to FF through ads for most shows on YouTubeTV.

I can watch them on the various other streaming services. There are a couple that have an ad before and after and I don’t get previews for next week but when I don’t usually control the remote. I don’t have to remind someone to FF.

NBC shows and Bravo shows on Peacock

ABC on HULU

CBS on Paramount+

It is a hack that works for me. It also works the day after they air, but I never watch live anymore!

What part is the hack?

Basically. The show is presented straight through. An hour long show is 42-44 minutes. You have zero commercial breaks you have to FF through. I know first world problem, but it is a way to watch a show if you have those as free streaming services and time shift.

+1 ???

Wouldn't call this a hack - you pay more for ad-free Hulu (limited ads for certain shows like you said) than ad-filled Hulu.

This....is how most people watch TV nowadays, OP.

Sigh. Most people have to ff through the commercials. Using the hack. You don’t have to.

Makes no sense to me.

Says who? Ad-free programming has been around for a while. Most cord cutters know this.

Because there is no hack. OP is buying the ad free version of various streaming services. But they are trying to present it as a hack when it’s not.

Yes it is so there!

OP, you aren’t making sense. Are you drunk?

What is the hack, exactly? Do you mean you pay for the no-ads streaming? That isn’t a “hack.” Do you know what a hack is?

+1. I do the Black Friday Hulu deal every year and was excited for a hack to get around the ads. Paying for the ad-free version is . . . not a hack.

I have a coworker who is always telling people about “life hacks” that are always just paying more for a service that makes your life easier. Like she thinks house cleaners, getting groceries delivered, and buying more expensive clothes that look better and last longer are “hacks”. I once pointed out that this stuff isn’t some secret hack — most people know about them — but that they are only available to people who can afford them. Sort of the opposite of a hack, mire like “the way everyone expects things to work.” She was adamant though.

Everyone wants to think they are an expert or a genius, I don’t know.

The hack is if you have both YouTubeTv and the ad free streaming is to watch your network shows on the ad free streaming. I’m just the OP and just realized this with the new season.

Some of you people are just mean and nasty. I feel sorry for your lives truly.
