Tinner is only convenient if you are in Falls Church City. Coming from Tyson’s it’s more inconvenient than Merrifield. |
I thought the Tysons Target was going to be a smaller/city Target like the Tinner Hill.

Same. We drive to Reston instead. |
I hope it goes into the BB&B property. |
What? It’s great for so many things and more importantly I can return online purchases there. |
DP but agree it’s totally worthless. They only have like one kind of things and not big selections of all the stuff you go to target for. There are enough grocery stores in Tyson’s, where you can buy a majority of the stuff in the smaller targets. I live in McLean and would love a real target closer - I go to reston. Walmart is trash. |
NP. Have you been to the Tinner Hill target? It’s worthless. |
No way they could fit a full-sized Target there unless they built a parking ramp. But maybe it will one of their smaller format stores like the Tysons Walmart. Either way, that's not a great entrance from 123 into there. Traffic would be a mess in that intersection from all directions. |
This. Very small, access road intersection and would cause tremendous backup at that light. I would love it as part of Tysons Corner Mall! But not sure about the mall management based on LL Bean pulling out. |
It is practically more like a CVS than a normal target. That said, during the great TP rush of 2020, it was the one place that we found some! |
I wish they'd put a Wegman's there. The Wegman's currently at Tysons is too small and hard to get to. |
They should just replace the Walmart with Tysons. That Walmart is a total mess. |
NP. Agree about Tysons mall. Hadn't been there since the pandemic started though I used to go all the time (I live nearby) and I walked around it in late August. I was amazed to see how much was gone --LL Bean, Disney Store, others. Some shops that seemed like pop-ups, not a longer-term tenants. And several things that feel temporary and trendy -- boba shops etc. -- that feel like they're going to go the way of frozen yogurt shops a few years back, everywhere for a time, then all gone. I never hear anyone ever talk about going to any of the anchor stores to shop for anything at all. I've been going to that mall for 30 years and it's never before seemed quite this "on the bubble" between its higher-end aspirations and tipping toward "meh" and full of stuff that won't last beyond a season. Target, wherever it might go anywhere near Tysons, would create a clusterf**k of traffic. I hate that the BB&B store is sitting there like a carbuncle but whatever goes there, if it's something like Target or Wegman's, is going to trash traffic along 123 there on weekends. Not that that'll stop anyone from going, or stop companies from taking that space. |
PUT IT WHERE THE LORD AND TAYLOR WAS |
I keep waiting for one of the new developments in Tysons to put in a two-floor full-sized Target in with escalator and parking ramp. |
