Tyson’s Corner Target coming soon?

I just overheard some Target employees talking about how they may be transferring to the Tyson’s location once it opens; I don’t see anything about a Tyson’s Target on the “coming soon” page on the official Target website. Maybe I overheard them; has anyone else heard about a Tyson’s Target? That would be so convenient for me!

The last thin Tyson’s needs is more traffic.

I think the Lord and Taylor anchor is still empty. It seems awfully close to the Merrifield location though.

It would be close but there are definitely other locations closer/just as close. There are two Sterling Targets within like two miles of each other - so confusing!

Agreed - and trying to go there and find parking on the weekends is on par with Black Friday. Absolute bedlam.

I would LOVE a target at Tyson’s. I don’t end up going to merrifeld for target. I go to Walmart instead.

I’m surprised there isn’t one already. So many large retail spaces that could have one easily. Wonder where it’ll be!

There's a smaller Target less than 2 miles down 29 in Falls Church (Tinner Hill), which is also only like 2 miles to the Seven Corners Target. Target has taken over lots of vacant anchor spots in other malls so it could work.

Gross Target at Timber Hill. Like a convenience store. I wish they anchored them to shopping malls instead of making stand alone stores.

I would love to have a Target in Tysons. Now that they opened up Scott's Crossing Rd, the area isn't nearly as busy.
