The relevant teen is now 20, and I probably read this when she was 13 or 15 or so. I've read a lot of parenting books, and this one was both the most useful AND the most fun to read! Added bonus, I learned that there are lots of situations where your job is to DO NOTHING and that was super helpful because I was trying so hard... I read it with a highlighter and pencil and kept it on my nightstand for a couple years... It was the BEST ADVICE I EVER RECEIVED from DCUM |
