Yes! And then I pulled it back out again when middle school rolled around. It was the best way to disengage from the talking back nonsense. It really helped fix it pretty quickly. |

How old are your kids? My favorites for different stages were:
the Happiness Project (not actually a parenting book but it's good for parenting of young kids) Siblings without Rivalry Tiger mom (not because I am a tiger mom but it was super interesting to see different styles of parenting and help me create my own (very different) philisophy. |
