Whitman and BCC differences/pressure cooker

I keep hearing this pressure cooker thing applied to Wootton and Whitman, but am wondering...are the Blair Stem Magnet or RMIB or other application programs not pressure cookers in comparison? I'd have assumed those are the real pressure cookers.

Curious how Blair Magnet kids' pressure compares to Whitman. I don't hear much about it here. Very small school group. How is the program doing?

Pressure cooking has to do mostly with the school environment and culture.
Blair Magnet, RMIB are more rigorous and harder, but the environment is less of a pressure cooker.

BTW, no school wants to be known as a pressure cooker. It's not a healthy environment.
You'll not see any school advertised itself as a pressure cooker school.

Blair is many things to many people. It's a big school where kids can choose to take the most rigorous classes offered in MCPS to easy ones.
