I think he would have never agreed to work with her on this new morning show if they were not already friendly on a professional level. So yeah, Kaitlin posted some dumb, ignorant, mean things on social media back in when she was sorority girl with zero gay friends or colleagues. So it goes with white sorority girls from Alabama who spent their lives in a bubble. Working in a big diverse organization - like CNN - makes one look back upon on their parochial ignorance with mortification and embarrassment. People should get a chance to grow and make amends. |

Cnn and msnbc evening shows are redundant indeed. Same topics on the same evening. I stopped watching a few years ago and never looked back. |

Tv journalists are not really super smart, esp when compared to the investigative journalists at ny times, etc. Tv people mostly just report on others’ work/ap headlines half the time. The only person I have deep respect for on tv is Clarissa Ward…fearless and relentless. |
