Peloton Tread

+1

There are much better treadmills, and many support online fitness classes (e.g., iFit).

Love my Peloton tread, has changed my life. First time I’ve actually enjoyed fitness classes, also love the scenic runs feature.

The current tread has its place but the tread+ they stopped selling was far superior. I’m glad I have mine despite the recall. Will never let it go. I don’t use the classes anymore and use zwift running with a laptop and a stryd pod, but do like having the scenic runs going in the background.

Overall, I’d agree with others That you can find another treadmill and use a separate device like a tablet or touchscreen laptop to replicate the class experience. After a short while the metrics peloton tracks for you don’t mean anything. I haven’t looked at any of that in a long long time.

I’m intrigued by the scenic run option. Are those available somewhere else, on another platform?

For me the screen is the selling point, I use it for floor workouts too. I’d you don’t think you will ever stream peloton workouts then I wouldn’t bother
