What foods have you found effective in lowering LDL (bad cholesterol)?

Ironically k2 comes from dairy, animal products, and fermented foods (so that last can be plants)


K2 MK7 comes from natto - a fermented soy product. Use only K2 MK7.

The complementary question here is *absence* of which foods would also lower LDL. To that end, minimize saturated fat.

I switched to a mostly plant-based diet (occasional fish or eggs) and my LDL dropped 40 points just from that switch. I don't really eat oatmeal or take supplements.

Can you eat instant oatmeal or is it just steel cut that makes a difference?

OP here. I weigh 112 lbs. bad cholesterol isn’t just an affliction of the overweight.
