Tell them to replace it. |
| I return stuff to the grocery store all the time. Long before this. Never had an issue. If something goes bad before the sell by date, or within 3-4 days of purchasing it, I absolutely return it. I can’t believe other people don’t do this. |
| Ok Karen. |
| Nothing wrong with doing this. I order all my groceries online, and have definitely complained and been reimbursed for bad avocados, rotting spinach, etc. I did it before the pandemic and will continue to do it. |
🤣😂🤣😂 |
| Trader Joe’s produce goes bad so fast. |
I like TJs but do not buy produce aside from bagged salads. |
Me too Me too Life is too short to drink bad wine🤪 |
No this is what we call an Aunt Glenna |

I did this recently and its pretty unusual for me....I bought a package of cheddar cheese from Trader Joes. Expires in December. I took it out yesterday and saw mold on it--and its still unopened!
salad always seems gross and rotten within a day or two so I dont buy bagged lettuce anymore. |
| Are you shopping yourself? If you pick out produce that's bad, that's on you. I complain about all the expired rotten produce I get delivered. Nice try but no, I will not pay for that. |
| I feel like produce is pointless lately. No matter where I buy it, store or farmers market, it just goes bad so fast we can't eat it in time. |
| That's why I shop at Costco. You can return anything anytime. It's great! |
I disagree with this. For example, sometimes you can't tell that berries already have mold towards the bottom or are mushy because of the container that is used. |
+1. Berries are the bane of my existence. I have returned items in the past if it's not too out of my way to do so and it's pricey. I just bought a multipack of yogurt where one's lid had been smashed in so had to be tossed (but couldn't see under the cardboard). I debated taking it back because I was worried about the other containers but didn't go back. |
