I used to let minor issues go in the past but not anymore. Anything remotely off with a product I am going to complain about it and ask for a free replacement.
100% of the time the grocery stores have complied. Stale chips. Soggy bananas. Stuff like that. |
| Ok |
| What's a soggy banana? |
| I would return something that was stale or had something wrong with it after opening that wasn’t visible in store. The only way I would return a banana is if it was preordered and packaged by a store employee. |
Yeah.

Sometimes I order online. |
| Finally, I can sleep tonight, knowing your stance on this. |
| I would not waste my time going all he way back to the store to replace a 25 cent banana but if that is how you want to spend your time...great. |
I think a banana costs more like $10. |
😄 |
| Only thing I have actually returned was a bad bottle of wine. I honestly haven’t had any issues with packaged things. The bagged salad never lasts until the date, even unopened but I feel like that’s my choice to buy that knowing the dates are deceiving. |
This isn't new. You can request something nicely even before Covid. |

I have a fancy Wegman's near my house and the produce is awful! Stuff goes bad immediately.
I now shop at Harris Teeter. |
| 👍🏻 |
| To the bad bottle of wine poster…I love your standards 😀 |
